Professional’s Corner | Professional Project in Calgary Get Rustic Touch with Wall Sconces
When redesigning an existing space, your mind may be full of visions of what could be, but then reality rears its ugly head and says, “Not so fast.” Such was the case for interior designer Jenn Stuart who loves her classic 1950s bungalow in Calgary, Canada but was constrained by the home’s footprint. We featured Jenn’s work in a previous blog which described how her growing family needed more space. Since moving wasn’t an option Jenn favored, her remodeling dreams spread upwards 
instead of outwards.
With her gift for design, Jenn worked with Copper Brook Homes to create an open and airy feel by gutting the main level of the home and adding a second level. May eco-friendly features were included in the renovation process although the solar panels Jenn dreamed of didn’t make the final budget; however, Copper Brook prepped the home for future installation.
While our previous visit to Jenn’s remodeled home featured her boys’ bathroom where bright red barn wall sconces add a playful touch, Jenn opted for more rustic wall sconces in the master bath.
