On a recent trip through the funky little coastal town of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, we enjoyed a fabulous fried grouper sandwich and some sweet tea at Creek Ratz, a local joint that specializes in fresh seafood, cold beer, and some wonderful industrial lighting. We showed you in a previous blog how galvanized industrial warehouse pendants complete with a red wire cage are used to highlight the bar area with rustic style.
And outside on the patio, we discovered some old gas station lights that had been refurbished and refinished in the Creek Ratz trademark red that provide just the right touch of color and downward-directed light to the deck. To get this look for your restaurant or commercial lighting plan, check out our expanded selection of Post Mount Lighting which includes a variety of both single and double warehouse shades plus post mount lanterns.
The Gold Rush Single Post Mount Exterior Light offers a similar classic look with either a 20″ or 26″ inch shade and can be customized with one of 17 different finish colors. Add a cast guard and glass, in a variety of colors and textures, to give this light even more vintage
appeal. Several options are also available for the pole itself including a direct burial or aluminum fluted cast pole.
If you’re looking for something a little more modern and fun, don’t miss the Seaside Radial Wave Single Post Mount Decorative Exterior Light. This wavy, American-made reflector shade will draw lots of attention and is perfect for walkways, outdoor patios, and parking lots. These fixtures, like all of our porcelain enamel barn lights, are hand spun from commercial grade steel then coated with porcelain enamel glass. The shades are baked at extremely high temperatures to seal the glass for a high gloss finish that will never fade or corrode. Even with the South’s abundant sunshine, porcelain enamel will provide a lifetime of use!
